About the Role
As a Human Resource Associate for our in-home senior care company, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for supporting various aspects of human resource management to ensure the recruitment, retention, and development of a talented and dedicated workforce. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and upholding the values and culture of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork completion, and training coordination.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Maintain open communication channels and address employee issues promptly and confidentially, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits. Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to benefits.
Performance Management: Assist in the implementation and administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans. Provide support to managers and employees in navigating performance-related issues.
Training and Development: Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies. Assist in identifying training needs, scheduling training sessions, and tracking training completion.
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, including personnel files, timekeeping records, and HRIS data.
Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to promote employee engagement and morale, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives. Seek feedback from employees and contribute to initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
HR Reporting: Generate HR reports and metrics to track key HR indicators, such as turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and training effectiveness. Analyze data trends and provide insights to inform HR decision-making.
Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure that policies are communicated effectively to employees and consistently applied across the organization.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in human resources or related administrative role preferred.
Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, HRIS systems, and other HR software.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
